Alhassan Toure is an up and coming fashion designer who infuses his label, Toure Designs, with African influences to create highly individual pieces which span the breadth of both high fashion and everyday apparel. The self-proclaimed “Leather King,” his Mali heritage inspires a range of designs emboldened by signature prints and quality leather. Its trademark logo, the African Gazelle, is a symbol sacred and highly prized in Mali culture. His clothing line is popularized by a swath of celebrities that includes Busta Rhymes, Alica Keys, Swizz Beats, Raekwon of Wu-Tang, Chris Brown, Diddy, Snoop Dogg and LL Cool J to name a few.
